Warp Printing : comparable to the principles of printing ordinary clothing except that the mechanical operation is different. Warp yarn is printed on a beam and then it is rewound onto a second beam which is placed in the back of the loom and made ready for the weaving operation. Warp prints give a mélange or mottled effect when woven with plain filling, white or in some light color. Rather popular for coverlets, some dress goods, counterpanes, bedspreads, etc. The idea behind the Fashion Industry Network is to help educate one another. Therefore, I thought that I would use the blog feature to provide a few definitions regarding printing. In case you missed the previous definitions from the series, here they are... block printing apparel burnout printing apparel direct printing apparel discharge or extract-printing resist printing apparel
