I saw Chinese cultural influence on Vivienne Tam's designs peaking in Spring/Summer 2013.
Among the 38 outfits from Vivienne Tam Spring/Summer 2013 collection inspired by the five elements of Chinese philosophy: wood, water, fire, earth, and metal represented by their respective Feng Shui colors - green for wood; black and grey for water; red for fire; brown for earth, and gold and white for metal showcased at New York Fashion Week, here are La Mode by GV Miao's top five favorite looks - I especially like the magnificent emerald green and Chinese motifs in ink brush painting featured. The collection was full of geometric prints and hexagonal cutouts exuding the spirit of sustaining a perfect balance of the Yi and Yang. Tell me how you like our picks this season.
