Vivian Hidalgo created Vivian Contemporary Andean Designs with the vision of bringing the purest and most elaborate Andean designs to Europe and introduce the true identity of traditional Andean textiles together with the elaborate process behind these colourful and intricate pieces to the 21st Century.

Vivian went through a lengthy and demanding process of experimentation and research to produce these new Andean patterns managing to stay loyal to their cultural and historical background.

The "Andean Cosmovision Collection" celebrates the change from Mama to Pacha Era in the Andean Calendar and it is based in the Cruz Chakana as the central point in the most relevant cycles and still in use nowadays.

These pieces are limited editions and those lucky enough to wear them can rest assured they are wearing a unique work of art.

Vivian studied Interior Design in the Universidad Mayor de San Simon de Cochabamba in Bolivia, moving later on to Barcelona where she studied Multidisciplinary Design at the Universidad Polytecnica of Catalunya and finally moving to London where the finished her Masters in Graphic Design.
