Victoria’s Secret Fashion

In 2016, the Victoria's Secret Fashion show featured performances by The Weeknd (performed "Starboy"), Lady Gaga (performed "Million Reasons", and a medley of "A-Yo" and "John Wayne"), and Bruno Mars (performed "Chunky" for your Pink brand and "24k Magic" for its VS brand). The executive producer of Victoria's Secret, Ed Razek, picked Grand Palais in Paris, France as the show's place. A significant challenge faced with the series was that the size of the building and the way the show could be showcased on a small TV, in addition to the natural light in the building, which could put in the way of this tradition of this show being held at night. International Fashion Photographer Ipsito Das covered still photography. American network television broadcasts the series during prime time. The first few shows in the 1990s were held at the days previous Valentine's Day to promote the brand for this holiday. They were not aired on national television. Back in 1999 and 2000 the series was webcast. Beginning in 2001, the displays were moved ahead of the Christmas holiday season. Additionally in 2001, the show made its network tv broadcast on ABC, although in most subsequent decades, it's been broadcast on CBS. The series was held in a variety of locations in various cities including Miami, Los Angeles, Cannes, Paris, and London. The first four shows were held at the Plaza Hotel in nyc, but since it has become a televised event it's most often been held in the 69th Regiment Armory in New York City. The show will feature the first-ever segment in cooperation with another brand, French fashion house Balmain. Early rumors indicated that Taylor Swift would function alongside Styles, but that was determined to be a hoax. An operation by Katy Perry was cancelled because of her visa being revoked. A week before the series was due to be filmed, version Gigi Hadid confirmed that she was likewise refused a visa. Russian and Ukrainian versions because of feature in the series were also allegedly denied visas for entry to China, hence are not featured in the series. Typically, one version is chosen one of the Angels to put on a bejeweled bra dubbed the "Fantasy Bra". It was initially advertised in the Victoria's Secret catalog, but since 2001 has been worn in the fashion shows. Ahead of every style show, Victoria's Secret contracts a renowned jewelry designer to craft the bra to be utilized as a focal point for promoting the fashion show and as a centerpiece inside it. The business offers the Fantasy Bra available as "the ultimate vacation" gift. However, just the centerpiece from the 2004 Heavenly "70" Fantasy Bra along with the 2012 Floral Fantasy Bra and Present Set have found a purchaser. If not purchased, the figurines are hammered after a year.
