Well, I am on a serious high this week as we continue to build into the Veritas Artist Collective. As of yesterday we have added Virgin Record’s Green River Ordinance and Humanitarian Photographer Esther Havens to the Artist Collective. All five of the individuals that make us GRO and Esther herself all live in a manor that
A. Inspire and Build into communities in need.
B. Continually grow and hone their individual creativity and medium.
In 2007 GRO inked the deal with EMI/Virgin Records, joining a stable of talent that reads like a Who’s Who of rock music. From the Immortals like Pink Floyd and Bob Seger to the newer classics like Beastie Boys and Coldplay, GRO has now taken their place on the very professional stage of the music industry. Esther Havens is a humanitarian documentary photographer who focuses on social-awareness campaigns with non-profits around the globe, capturing stories that transcend a person’s circumstance that reveal the strength of an individual regardless of the situation in which they find themselves. Esther has traveled extensively to over 40 countries and seeks to open hearts and minds to see the third world conditions in a way that might challenge them to make a difference. Her photographs have been displayed in various exhibits across the country. She currently resides in Austin, Texas and New York City and continues to travel on assignment.
Her passion for photography and her passion for community and the people groups she encounters are second to none. When you look at her work, these emotions are portrayed from a lens and the movement of a finger into your memories.
