Think festival fashion

The season of getting excited about festivals is here again! Yey, I hear you shout, but what about the fashion? These days festival fashion is definitely just as important as the live festival music, so you need to plan in advance what you’re going to take. You don’t want to be caught short, and you cant just stick your normal everyday clothes into a rucksack and expect it to be fine. Festivals are always for some reason always the same, we get boiling sun which makes us want to run about in out bikinis and then we get the hard and consistent rain, which because of the vast amount of people who are walking around on the grass field, gets turned into thick slushy mud! Yuck! Your converse will definitely not withstand these conditions and will be ruined in record time!

Your first purchase should ultimately be a good quality pair of wellies. Not the wellies you dad bought you from the local pound shop because, “they were only a pound” some sturdy wellies that will last and actually keep your feet dry in the world war 1 trench foot conditions that festivals bring. Hunter wellies are probably my favourite on the market. They are proven to last (and were actually used in world war one, who knew?) AND they come in loads of different colours! Who said wellies had to be dull? Not Hunter!

Of course you may need to pack more than just a pair of wellies to survive the entire weekend. Denim shorts are a great festival fashion choice and so is a hippy style flowing dress, perhaps in a floral pattern. Luckily both of these outfit choices will go perfectly with you hunter wellies to create the ultimate festival look.
