Even though Tuesday evening was dull, cold and rainy, Sweden’s most important celebrities and public figures attended the gala dinner Polar Prize Music, which was held at the Grand Hotel Stockholm. The glamourous outfits and amazing jewelry could be seen everywhere however, the sparkling Swedish royals made a real impression when they arrived.
Princess Madeleine and her husband Christopher O’Neill arrived at the gala dinner together looking breathtakingly stunning. The Princess looked very refreshed after the two week family holiday in Italy and Sweden. Chris was looking incredible in his white tie which was matching Prince Daniel and King Carl Gustaf. Princess Madeleine was looking beautiful, dressed by Ida Sjöstedt. She was wearing a very elegant lace top and a very long skirt in fantastic red.
Crown Princess Victoria decided to recycle one of her favorite dresses in powder pink. The evening gown is from the H&M Conscious Collection. The Princess accessorized with a pale pink purse and nude heels from Dolce & Gabbana.
Queen Silvia was just as radiant and stylish as her two daughters wearing a very long rose colored dress with dark-rose shawl and matching shoes.
The Polar Prize Music award ceremony took place earlier in the day and the Swedish royals attended it too. The ceremony took place at the Stockholm Concert Hall. The PMP is one of the most unique and prestigious music awards in the world. It was first founded in year 1989 and it is awarded to groups, individuals and institutions. It is recognition of incredible achievements in the music sphere. The winners this year of the prominent award were Chuck Berry and Peter Sellars.
During the ceremony Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine were missing. They later explained that they didn’t attend because they really don’t want the association with Chuck Berry who, in 1959, was convicted of trafficking and spent time in prison.
