AMAZING!!! I was there as a volunteer (and as a swapper of course) sorting pieces, appraising items, giving styling tips and basically helping out in every way possible. It was unbelievable the amount of very high quality (and super fashionable) items I came across with...from brand new Dolce & Gabbana dresses to Coach bags and hats... some of them even with the tags on!The organization of the event was impeccable, all the items were divided in three categories: Cheap 'n' Chic, Everything in Moderation and Lap of Luxury. As the participants arrived their items were appraised and placed in each of these categories, if there was anything that didn't meet the Swap Miami standards the units were not included in the swap. Each 
participant would get tokens that represented each category based on the items they brought to swap.I took home a pair of skinny LUX jeans, a pair of James jeans, 2 belts, 3 tops and...my favorite...a Citrine gemstone brought by Ramona Boucher herself!!! Ramona Boucher is none other than the Creative Director and Head Designer at Bastion and the mastermind behind the iconic ring Jared gave Samantha in the first Sex and the City movie...(TOTALLY UNBELIVABLE!!!!!!)
No matter your age, gender or size you were sure to have fun and find amazing and unique treasures to love and show off to your friends. Participants who bought their tickets in advance also got a very trendy and reusable Bag the Habit gift bag with an Ecoist gift card and a Cushy Cakes cupcake (super yummy by the way!!!) among other treats. What I love the most about this bag is that it is not only trendy but also reusable, a perfect fit for the Swap Miami motto "recycle, reuse, reduce & support living sustainably & chic"Also chic and very in-style was the location...Cafeina Wynwood Lounge. With its relaxing garden, 
spacious art gallery and inviting lounge, Cafeina was the perfect spot to host the event. As a volunteer I had the chance to savor some Chef's Guily Booth's signature tapas and all I can say is that Martha Stewart was right when she described the crab cake as "the best one she's ever had".If you weren't able to attend don't worry!
