The Netflix for bags

Did you go see SATC 2 already? Is it fabulous?....don't tell me anything!! I haven't seen it yet and I'll have to wait until next week to see it...I didn't get tickets on time... boohoo...But not all is lost, I might not be have tickets to the fab premier but that means I have more time to decide what to wear! As you know this are recession times and instead of going to the mall and getting a new outfit every weekend I've had to reinvent my closet over and over again (I should get an award for most creative recessionista…really)
For the most part I think I have my SATC look ready: the dress is a super sexy black number I found deep in the back of the closet (which was kind of going shopping because it still has the tags and I had completely forgotten about it) the shoes...well I must confess, I did go shopping a couple of weeks back and I just couldn't help it, I got an amazing pair of burgundy Rock & Republic super high (really...super high) strappy sandals. The only missing piece to my fab puzzle is the bag...I want an iconic piece, a bag that totally represents my love for fashion...maybe even a bag that is featured in the movie (but of course in my budget)...I know...let’s call Avelle!Avelle, the new "bag, borrow or steal", is a truly smart and amazing service that lets you borrow the newest a most beautiful designer bags and accessories for a portion of the price. The best part? You can keep them for a week, a month or the entire season and if you truly fall in love with it and can't part ways you can buy it...I love it! It's like a swag test driveThe "Netflix for bags", as Louis from Saint Louis describes it, has rescued me on many occasions...a couple of months back I had to travel to Chicago for a super important meeting with top executives (by executives I mean super trendy, high end bitches ladies)and I needed to look sharp (but cute). The outfit consisted of a Theory pin stripe pant suit, white blouse, extra high pumps (the pants were really long and I didn't have time to do the hem)and a Burberry overcoat..Once again the missing part was the bag. So I decided to pay a visit to Avelle and bingo! I got this super hot Burberry Nova Plate Patent Hobo (which totally complimented the coat by the way) for only $43 a week (retails for about $1,000)...needless to say I rocked the meeting (and every other event I had that week)
The customer service is truly exceptional. Each bag arrives in a box and wrapped around bubble wrap so it won't get damaged along the way. When you open the box, you'll notice a tag attached to each piece, if you are satisfied with your rental just remove it and forget about it...but if you were expecting something different, don't remove the tag and return the item for a full refund. The first time I rented I had a lot of questions so it felt great to speak to an actual person (no machine) who helped me all the way.
I know Avelle will come to rescue once again just in time for my big Sex and The City 2 girls night out...(plus I have a baby shower next Saturday so I can kill two birds with one stone and rock the bag while it's mine)I have to go now...these bags go fast and I still have to check out the jewelry section...Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!!XOXOThe Style Hunter
