Adam Malysz has been supporting all police activities for many years to improve safety. It is no different this year. The master from the Vistula himself sees a great need to improve safety among pedestrian road users.
The athlete during the action with the Cieszyn roadster always mentions how, returning from the competition, he nearly hit a man who walked along the side and was completely invisible. As a driver, he has always been paying attention to pedestrians, especially those who are poorly visible on the road.
For this reason, it has been supporting the campaign of Cieszyn policemen for nearly ten years, aimed at propagating the wearing of reflective elements by pedestrians. In connection with the action, Adam together with uniforms participated in the patrol, during which they handed out vests and reflective elements, talked with pedestrians, convinced them that it is worth "to shine by example".
An unusual patrol controlled pedestrians after dark, in places where the visibility of walking people is poor. Passers-by were positively surprised by a direct meeting with the champion, they also gladly accepted and used reflective vests.
The use of the reflective element makes the pedestrian visible to other road users from a much greater distance, which means that the driver has much more time to react and safely bypass such a pedestrian.
