Weeks ago they pulled 18 pieces from my store DOUBLETAKE for a fashion show called  ”A Divine Tribute to Fashionata” a tribute to Rich’s department store.  The day the AJC was photographing the photo shoot to cover the event with models from the past, I styled the models for the photo-opt.    I handed the AJC “journalist” Nedra Rhones my card and she said she would be contacting me to interview me for the article.  Needless to say the “journalist” Nedra never called and the article came out that neglected to mention that a vast majority of dresses for the show came fromDOUBLETAKE.  This is a big deal considering DOUBLETAKE is the only consignment store in Atlanta that specializes in luxury vintage.  The ONLY store in Atlanta…  For them to pull 18 pieces for this show from a single source is unbelievable and I think worthy of recognition of support.  If there is one thing I can’t stand it’s just sloppy “journalism”.   Yes I’m loud & vocal when it comes to incompetence but I’ve never second guess myself when it comes to calling out people for not doing their “journalistic” job….  Who knows maybe this Nedra chick might reconsider grabbing herself another profession.
