Holidays in the Opolskie Voivodeship begin on January 28, but now the policemen from the Brest district headquarters visit schools and explain to the youngest how to safely spend this time.

 

Now they met with students of schools in Skarbimierz and Lipki. Uniforms said how to safely behave at the colonies. They remind you not to move away from your group, and above all listen to what carers say.

 

- It is important that children know what they are threatened within contact with strangers and how dangerous games can be dangerous in places unknown to us - says younger aspirant Patrycja Kaszuba from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Brzeg. - Although there is no real winter in our poviat, there are districts that warn against playing on frozen ditches, rivers and ponds. The weather is changeable and the snow may start to fall and the cold to come.

 

For the sake of safety, the youngest uniforms also reminded about the rules in force on the roads and on the road.

 

- After meetings with policemen, the youngest know perfectly well that during the walk we do not run into the road and we pass to the other side in the designated place - says Patrycja Kaszuba. - After dark, we wear reflective tapes or reflective clothing.

 

As part of preventive activities, the Commune Office in Skarbimierz bought reflective vests that are already distributed to students.

 

In connection with the organized trips to the winter camps, the Breeze policemen will control coaches carrying children.
