Nike Air Max 1 has been receiving tons of love from the brand in the last year. The 2017 Anniversary edition brought the silhouette back in all of its retro glory, and Nike has been playing off of the renewed popularity with some of the best colorways yet. Now, the Swoosh has tapped one of their favorite collaborative partners, Piet Parra, to put his signature touch on the famed Air Max 1.

The wild new colorway from the Dutch artist begins with a platinum-colored mesh for a breathable and comfortable fit. Next, the central layers of the shoe come in a matching silvery tone, while the rest of the shoe unleashes the excitement. The mudguard around the toe features horizontal grey stripes, along with a small Parra script on the lateral side. The heel cap also features similar stripes, though they come in pink and maroon instead. The support shank that runs around the bottom of the shoe comes in navy blue, with a white polka-dot pattern. Finally, the new Parra x Nike Air Max 1 is completed by a baby blue Swoosh and multi-colored outsole.

Dutch artist Piet Parra undoubtetly is one of the most influental Nike collaborators of all time. Acclaimed for not only his own works with the brand, but also for designing the wildly popular Patta Air Max 1s, the 42-year old is a true sneaker culture star. Now he reunites with the Swoosh brand for the first time in 8 years on a Parra x Nike Air Max 1 2018 collab.
