Finding this Adele Simpson LBD makes me no longer a virgin.  I’ve waited patiently for this label and with good reason, it’s very collectible not to mention chic.  I am a huge fan of the website Shrimpton Couture, from Toronto Canada, and they just adore Adele Simpson.  Adele Simpson died in 1991 at the age of 91 and in the 70′s & 80′s this label was a power house.  She dressed several of the First Ladies from Lady Bird Johnson to Pat Nixon to Barbara Bush.  Her simple fashion philosophy won her many loyal followers over her years not just First Ladies but many theater & movie superSTARS.  Adele Simpson was the first designer to use cotton for both day and evening wear back in 1949 when cotton was used only for house dresses. Her husband designed a lot of the fabrics she used in her collections.  I really love finding this vintage 80′s Adele Simpson LBD from Neiman Marcus.  I tell you if you’re just patient things will come to you, I’m a firm believer in that logic!  Keep it “green” so please recycle, reuse & reduce.  I’m your luxury curator!
