Street style is a very particular fashion style which has originated from British fashion culture. It is a widespread approach to fashion and produces styles that are different from mainstream fashion considerations.
The term street-wear is actually quite a common term in the modern fashion world. The “street” approach to style and fashion is based on individuality. The street style methods enable the individuals to express their identities utilizing the sub-cultural and intersecting styles or trends. This is called performance and given a name of style, as it creates a space where identities are explored through the way of dressing up.

Streetwear is a style that is generally influenced by the youth. It is seen most in urban cities. The style has a huge place in fashion magazines and newspapers too. The magazines like Femina, Elle, and Vogue commonly feature candid photographs of individuals wearing stylish streetwear clothes. The streetwear or it can be broadly called urban fashion has made space in wardrobes of youth worldwide. An American photographer who has worked for the New York Times, Bill Cunningham, has pointed out street style as a keen catalog of common people’s clothing. He stated that every street tells a story about fashion and people there, only if you listen. There is a fashion show on the streets every day where people are contributing individually yet unknowingly.
Street style is an incredibly viral, instant, addictive aspect of fashion. It has a direct link with the term consumerism and the trends keep changing over time within the style itself. The style has always existed but it became a phenomenon in the 20th century. The standardization of life increased after World War II as individuals started appealing for alternative lifestyles in search of an identity. Clothing industries, which focused on high fashion, started producing for the economically disfavored and marginal groups too.
The process of consumption establishes fashion and gives a space for fashion forecasting accordingly. Fashion is researched by means of consumer patterns. Today the key countries which are being associated with street fashion include:

The fashion sense in India has always been influenced by Bollywood movies. Hence, street style in India is also getting on its way by getting inspiration from Bollywood movies only. The street style of India is seen mainly in the youth of the country. The Indian street style is making its own showground in the world.
After Bollywood, social media has affected the fashion game most in the country. Social media channels are becoming an efficient way to keep in touch with consumers and expand the brand. Bloggers who focus on fashion-related products are a part of the largest category of blogs. These bloggers write about fashion, styling, and beauty and inspire their followers. They create their own styles and expose them to urban spaces resulting in a new street style. They make fashion choices for the mainstream population more visible and accessible by promoting the brands in their blogs.
Overall, urban streetwear has made a place worldwide and the look is an awe-inspiring style to have in your fashion arsenal. It has the capacity to be rebellious and casual in one place and the style is here to stay for ages.
