This Piece Was inspired by the Jazz Era of the 1920's. Long pendant necklaces are all over the runways for Spring/Summer 2012 but this is a piece that is truly timeless.
Not only does this make a striking necklace with a 14 Inch drop but it can also be worn on clothing as the closures are brooch pins decorated with coins. To close this piece as a necklace simply slide one brooch pin into the other ( see photos). This can also be worn as a clothing accessory to close a jacket ( this is amazing on bolero jacket ) or even to decorate a throw pillow.
The coins have been attached with metal wire and left unpolished so as to preserve their original state so they can be removed if you are a coin collector. The coins and medal can also be polished.
The chain used is high quality non tarnish metal and the medal and coins were sourced at the antique and brocante markets in France.
