Spring is here and so are Spring fashions. Time to put away those bulky sweaters and heavy coats and get geared up in clothes meant for fun. No Spring outfit is complete without a few finishing touches to tie the whole thing together. The right accessories add that glam look to whatever you wear. Here are a few tips to help you decide which accessories will make your outfit pop.

Scarves

A lightweight, shear scarf is an easy way to dress up a spring outfit and bring a little more color to your face. Think florals and pastels for this time of year and don’t be afraid to get creative. A trip to the boutique can yield gossamer scarves with art prints by Monet or bright, cheerful hand painted silk scarves in an array of colors.

Necklaces and Bracelets

No outfit is complete without some bead work. There are lots of looks to choose from, but one that is sure to catch the eye is jewelry made from fire polished beads. Some retailers, like Har-Man Importing Corp, have beads to complete any look. Beads give an extra dimension to your outfit that makes everything you wear more versatile. Glass beads have a special luster to their shine that dresses up any ensemble. The fire polishing process gives the cut beads a roundness to their edges and a softness to their appearance, making them perfect for spring. Finish off your look with a multi-strand fire polished beaded necklace over a shell top and sweater, or give a classy edge to a casual outfit when worn as a multi-strand bracelet. Try choosing beaded jewelry in a contrasting color from the clothes to really make them stand out.

Earrings

Earrings should be similar in style to any necklaces you wear and are a must even with casual wear. Go for smaller pairs unless you want to make a bold statement.  If you do desire a bold statement, then go all out.

Rings

Rings can be another fun accessory, but it’s best to go easy on them. The temptation to wear all your rings at once is great, but it’s best to keep it to just one or two. Wear one with a special stone setting or cast metal work and a simple band below it for a subtle emphasis. Choose one with a stone that relates to a color in your outfit to tie it all in.

Spring is a time for colors and for clothes meant to be worn outdoors and seen. With a few accents and with the right accessories you can be sure your Spring ensemble shines.
