To me good fashion = good design and I love both. There are so many wonderful designers today that when you look at their creations you see architectural pieces, you see sculptures in action. My background is art, when I started off in college I wanted to design textiles because of my love for fabric but quickly changed that major to painter….So I see everything in patterns and shapes therefore I appreciate a really good designer when I come across one in the thrift stores such as Shin Choi. Shin Choi is first generation Korean American and from I’ve read about her she is gracious and polite. Choi is a world class designer known for her fabrics, knits, modern & clean look and has been designing since the late 80′s. People like Julia Roberts, Oprah, Katie Couric & Helen Hunt are faithful followers of this brand. I found this gorgeous Shin Choi skirt that looks like a painting which it is and I plucked it from the racks immediately. I found these 2 chic tops by Tucci by Gaby Tucci from Argentina and let me just say these tops are sexy and then just HOT. Gaby Tucci designs clothes that truly hugs the woman’s body adding that extra splash of sexappeal. Both Tucci tops look fantastic with this Shin Choi skirt, both brands complement each other beautifully. Simple and chic = good STYLISH designs.
