She's got the big head!

Last week was a tad bit rough. There was mold growing over my shower on the ceiling, and maintenance came to fix it. The way he fixed it was to spray pure, undiluted bleach on it. I am allergic to bleach, and it made me quite sick. I opened all the windows and aired the place out for two days, but it was too late. My head was throbbing, and I developed a deep cough and stuffy sinuses as my body tried to fight it. Needless to say, this was not the best week for progress in my school assignments.Here are some of the things that might be interesting to see that I turned in last week.


This is a color pencil and watercolor combo that I did for my Fashion Illustration class. Her face is too wide and one foot is bigger than the other, but overall I'm pleased. I guess I drew her how I felt. It's better than I thought I'd be able to do at this point.


This is a mixed media collage that I did in my Fashion Illustration class. The assignment was to use a drawing from class that we've had and incorporate text. Other than that, the sky was the limit as to what materials and methods we could use. I wish I could have been more creative with this, but considering how yucky I felt, this was pretty good to me.

This is one of my inspiration pages from my Fashion Design class. We had to do 20 and shop for fabric swatches inspired by them. I think I could have done a better job of integrating my images, which is my project for this week. To make my pages look better. But again, with as yucky as I felt, I was happy to get these cut and glued.
