Shanghai Tang's Artistic Collaboration with Jacky Tsai - Launch of Capsule Collection in Celebration of 20th Anniversary - Fashion Blogs

The Chinese blue and white porcelain-inspired design is a niche but has never left the trend. To celebrate its 20th anniversary this year, Shanghai Tang collaborates with contemporary artist Jacky Tsai to create six original artworks based on the Chinese dragon regarded as a symbol of power, strength and auspiciousness, festive images of Chinese lanterns and dancing lions to convey the joy and happiness of the Chinese New Year, the signature ginger flower, etc. which have also inspired the launch of a limited edition capsule collection ranging from luxurious qipao and box clutches to delicate tableware and cashmere shawls, among which the piece themed “Lotus Play” inspired by the Chinese blue and white porcelain especially caught my eye, not surprisingly, once again.
