We are seeking students who are driven to create change, stir the fashion industry and make a statement. Are you eager to use your artistic talent to create awareness around an environmental concern, endangered cultu...re, or human rights issue?
FINALISTS!
Four finalists will be chosen. One in each category. Each finalist will create 5-10 individual pieces for the final line. We will allow group submissions of a full collection. A showcase of her/his work will presented on September 17th 2010 at the RS Pop Shop 2011 Fashion Week Event.
Each finalist will have the opportunity to network with leading fashion elitists as well as obtain VIP passes to Fashion Nights Out events and two tickets to the Emerging Designers Ball. Prizes will include but not limited to profile coverage on DNAinfo site (www.dnainfo.com), internships and design materials. This event will be well promoted, highlighted within various mediums, such as magazines, newspapers, and the Internet.
