The Roger Vivier brand known for its luxury footwear is introducing a limited editioncollection of contemporary pieces that meets somewhere in the middlebetween its former couture line and the fashion house’s main collectioncalled Rendez-Vous. By using various materials such as straw, organza,horn sequins, and leather, creative director Bruno Frisoni says he’sgoing for more of an industrialized atelier approach to the classicVivier design. Here’s a sneak peek of two styles in the Rendez-Vousline. Expect to see these along with other looks starting January 2011. [WWD]
