Let me just say this ‘it’s truly an earth shaking experience when you find Roberto Cavalli inside a thrift store’. When I first spotted thissheer and charged up blouse by Cavalli I couldn’t believe my eyes so Ihad to do a ‘doubletake’. Good thing my eyes are still 20/20….. This isa label I have never in my 28 years of thrifting come across inside athrift store. Since its first show in 1970 in Paris Roberto Cavalli has been synonymous with glam, rock and animal prints. His flamboyantItalian STYLE caught on quickly and by 1972 he opened his first boutiquein Saint-Tropez. Look to Cavalli for color and lots of it and when itcomes to leather, his designs are wild, sexy, erotic and fluid and youcan see all that with this gorgeous blouse. I love the leather cordthat ties up the blouse up front, it’s super chic and sexy. Loveit…love it….love it…. This blouse was made in Italy so when it cametime to find the perfect pair of slacks what better than these stripedSportMax by MaxMara that are also made in Italy? Of the 35 labels inthe MaxMara stable, SportMaxis perhaps the best known after the original line. Created in 1969 byfounder Achille Mara, it’s geared towards younger shoppers. Alower-priced line, it follows in the house’s tradition of selling luxuryto women who can’t -or won’t-pay high fashion prices.
