The Danish royals ring in an exciting milestone surrounded by their family and friends!We can thank the Danes for holding dear what can only be described as one of the more exciting ways to celebrate a marriage.
In Princess Mary's home of Denmark, they have three major marriage milestones: Gold is 50 years, Silver is 25 and Cooper is 12½ years.
The exciting tradition, which dates back to the 1800s, sees couples - royal or not- celebrate their achievement with their family, friends and neighbours.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary rung in their copper anniversary on November 14.
The unique Danish tradition gets family and friends of the couple form a half arch, to mark their quarter-century of love.
And the loved up duo stuck to the highly celebrated Danish tradition, followed the protocol to a tee!
The pyjama-clad couple woke early to joyous singing feigning surprise before enjoying a copper wedding breakfast, which no doubt included a piece of kransekage, a special almond cake.
The Danish Royal Family's Facebook page shared the touching moment of the pair being woken up by their guests under a stunning archway with a commemorative plaque in their honour.
"Family and friends had this morning 6.30 wake-up at the palace to mark the day," Kongehuset penned alongside the snap.
To continue the festivities, a slew of flashback photos and videos from their 2004 wedding day on May 14 were shared via the Danish Royal Family's social channels.
This was a huge milestone for Mary and Fred, who earlier this year released a new stamp featuring the pair and their kids — Prince Christian, 11, Princess Isabella, nine, and five-year-old twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent.
"The stamp marks the Crown Prince Couple's copper wedding on November 14th 2016. The ceremony in May 2004 took place in Copenhagen Cathedral and the wedding festivities were held at Fredensborg Palace," a message on the royals' Facebook page read.
