This past Saturday I said 'bye for now' to a dear friend and super talented designer. Azmara Asefa (far right). She is the creator of my beyond fabulous 'The Khola', the skirt that could have had it's own show at last year's CMH Fashion Week Finale Runway Show.
It was a happy occasion as I know her talent is perfect for L.A., her new home.
Of Ethiopian decent and an architect by trade, she infuses those cultural and design elements in her pieces. Some of my favorites:
