My Healthy Mind, Body, Spirit, and Economic Values

My past has helped me to develop a long-term routine when it comes to my creation of a healthy mind, body, spirit, and economic value environment. It has taken quite a few years for me to build this healthy environment because I never had help or advice from others until this year. So I am still learning my ways, especially now that I am on my own for the first time in this HUGE city of Atlanta, GA. I now have the freedom to focus on me and live the way I want to live.My Mind.Every day, I dedicate alone time for myself so that I can relax my mind. A person I admire told me, “A person who spends an entire day with people instead of spending time with their self, do not have a healthy mind.” From the outside looking in, I do look like the type of person who spends every moment with a crowd, essentially now that I live in a dorm. That is not ENTIRELY true because in between friend visits, I go to my room to spend quality time with myself. During that time, I take long hot showers while music plays, watch television, take a nap, day dream, read, learn, organize, or I will call someone. My Body.Everyone has flaws. I accept ALL of mine. Confidence begins with knowing and loving your self. My flaws are what make me unique. I am not a firm believer in plastic surgery because you cannot hide from what you really look like. No matter what you change your face into; your past will follow you in pictures and in your children. Anyways, back to me. I love to exercise because that is how I stay in shape along with a balanced diet. I prefer to eat fruits and vegetables rather than carbohydrates and meats. I have completely eliminated pork from my diet because it clogs your intestines causing weight gain. I try not to eat beef because it makes me feel disgusting after every meal. Basically, my selections of meats are limited to chicken, turkey, and seafood. In addition to my diet I invest at least an hour of cardio exercise up to four times a week and I shop! Shopping is exercise no matter what ANY ONE says!!Spirit.I keep a positive attitude 90% of the time. Having a positive attitude eliminates confrontation and negative energy from other people. When people gossip about business I am POSITIVE they know nothing about, I act as if I am not interested in it at all and they stop. Yes it works all the time. Another thing I do is look in the mirror in bare clothing. It helps me build confidence in myself by acknowledging my flaws and the things that make me unique. This way when a person picks at my flaws, I will not feel insecure. When a person comment on something that I have that is unique, I smile in assurance. I keep my spirits high by reading the Bible. Every time I am upset, or confused, I pray for the answer in the Bible. I open the Bible to a random page and God blesses me with a page that has to do with my issue. It is very helpful when I have no one to talk to about my circumstances.Money.To be continued…lol
