Let’s face it. A lot of guys are just not born with the fashionable taste of their partners, and many don’t care. A lot of men mostly care about comfort, and they will not hesitate to wear gym shorts to almost any occasion. Women have a unique challenge to get their guys to look as trendy as they do. There are tactful methods to make your guy the envy of every other woman at your next social gathering.

Swap Out the Old with the New

Generally speaking, guys do not have a lot of attention to detail. Your partner might not even notice that his old jeans are replaced with a stylish upgrade. Both of you can work together to declutter that massive closet. Once he sees you parting ways with some of your old and tired wardrobes, he’ll get more motivated to switch up his style.

Make it Fun

Many men—and women—hate shopping, so you’ll need some creative tactics to put some pep in his step. You can try planning a date night together where you shop together. Another tip is laying out his outfit for him. If he doesn’t have to iron anything or decided how to pair things, he’ll probably appreciate you taking out some of the prep work. Try some unconventional looks like bright colors that pop. Getting your man to go outside of his comfort zone will be better for you in the long run.

Try Unconventional Dates

A night at the opera or a formal dinner will give you a chance to see your man like never before. Flatter him with tons of compliments to boost his ego, and he will start to realize it’s worth the effort to look nice. Other low-key dates like sightseeing or rock climbing can also give your man a chance to look his best. Looking great on the outside is a way to build self-confidence and improve your relationship.

Add Accessories

Small changes can make all the difference for improved personal style. A watch is a perfect piece to complement nearly every outfit. Plus, there are tons of options to select to match personal tastes. If your partner prefers a more casual look, go for a trucker hat.

Shoes can also make or break the outfit. A quality pair of dress and casual shoes a great place to start. Don’t forget to get him some stylish socks to go with them.

Whatever changes you make, always remember to remind your man that you love him. Applaud him for his efforts, and be patient with the process.
