Her inspirations were “Diana Vreeland’s “a garden in hell” Park Avenue apartment – (abundant flowers layered with print all in crimson), coromandel screens, "prized possessions” and the interwar period. This meant sculptural works of art in a wide variety of unique paradisiacalpatchwork prints, mosaics, dramatic florals, and animal prints on luxe materials such assatin, velvet and chiffon. In rich, jewel shades – azure, ruby, turquoise, violet, vermillion and exquisite detail. Surprisingly, the collection finished with an entirely different angle – floor-length dresses with loose billowing silhouettes that introduced a more feminine and very regal side.
