Buttons up, or buttons down? It's a question that many men ponder intensely when they're choosing how best to wear their polo shirt. Lyle & Scott have an online community, and they're adamant that there is only one way to wear you Lyle & Scott polo shirt.
In a Facebook poll the brand asked their fans whether they think polos are best worn buttoned up or down, with 129 voting in favour or the buttoned up look, compared to 47 who preferred to keep it unbuttoned. Polo shirts have become a must-have in many men's fashion collections over the last few years, and the 80's look has proved popular for numerous brands. With the 70's look now creeping back in, hand-in-hand with the unbuttoned, chest-bearing shirt style, will people have changed their minds in a few months?
