Louis Vuitton: Spirit of Travel Jewelry Collection

Brilliant designer, Lorenz Bäumer, has masterfully crafted an exquisite collection for Louis Vuitton that’s set to be unveiled next week.The level of meticulous detail shines in each piece. For instance, it took more than 400 hours to cut and design the center 30.1-carat gem of the collections’ trademark flower. It’s this dedication to high quality and fine-tuning that sets this collection apart from the rest.Bäumer drew from his extensive history of travel for the inspiration in the Vuitton’s designs. Hence, the name of the collection: ‘Spirit of Travel.’ Many of the designs reflect a swooping, interlocking circle shape.“He’s a very interesting mix of huge creativity and a very realistic sense of business,” Yves Carcelle, chief executive officer said.Overall, the collection consists of six jewelry sets. Each set contains a unique necklace that’s made especially for that collection and is one-of-a-kind in design. Expect to see the handcrafted necklaces retail close to $2.5 million per piece.This divine collection is set to go public on October 15 at the Vuitton’s flagship Champs-Elysées location.
