Chain Stitch Skipped Stitches - tip of the day

It is important to inspect the inside of your garments. Unless you inspect the inside of a chain stitch, you will not find drop stitches (skip stitches). Since a chain stitch is not a lock stitch, if there is just one drop stitch, the seam will ravel. A broken stitch may result in an open seam. Inspect all seams by grasping the fabric on each side of the seam and applying slight pressure to see into the seam.
