In 2009, NELSON WADE, designer of fine custom clothing, was asked by Distinctive Assets to provide luxury ties for their 7th annual “Everybody Wins at the Oscars®” Nominee Gift Bag. The nominees were from the 5 major event categories;
Best Actor – Richard Jenkins, Frank Langella, Sean Penn, Brad Pitt, Mickey Rourke.
Best Actress – Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie, Melissa Leo, Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet.
Best Supporting Actor – Josh Brolin, Robert Downey Jr., Philip Seymour Hoffman, Heath Ledger, Mich

It isn’t often that high-fashion design and prostitution collide, but in Amsterdam’s Red Light District, the world’s most glamourous industry is meeting its oldest profession. Similar to New York’s Fashion Incubator, the new RedLight Fashion Initiative mentors 16 of Holland’s most promising designers in the creation and promotion of their own labels.
