This week in blogging has turned into a week of CMH Fashion Week. I'm not complaining. The show was my baby, and with the help of some fabulous people, my vision came to life. Wondering where I've been? 
No I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. I was in NYC for my friend Alexis Wilson's book signing for 'Not So Black and White' at The James Hotel. Truly a grand event attended by actress Tamara Tunie and Blair Underwood among many other stars from Broadway and the arts. I had a blast!

degree seem a little pointless, hunh? Just kidding. In any case, Bittar tells the videographers over at Vogue Italia that his real education in fashion came from his folks, who…

Seems we’re fixed on the childhood experience of designers these days. Yesterday, we marveled when Alexis Bittar told Vogue Italia how he started selling vintage on the street at 13. Today, thanks to PSFK, we learned about the early training of Austrian knitwear sorceress, Michaela Buerger who parlayed her experiences crafting with her mother and grandmother and a little DIY couture designing in her teens into a collection that’s carried at Colette and Opening Ceremony.
