As you may have noticed, we believe that the best way to start in this little industry of ours is interning for a great company. Hell, we post every good internship we find as soon as we can. But it’s not all wine and roses. Interns often endure long hours, grueling pressure, and mundane tasks—and all of this without pay. The life as an intern, especially in the fashion industry, is far from the glamorous world
of the glossy magazines and runways. Yet, many young hopefuls would do anything to get their foot in the door of say Catherine Malandrino or Vogue.


Having not just one but several internships on your resume has become vital for anyone who wants a career in the industry. But with little job guarantee at the end, do these internships really pay off or are
they just a waste of time?
