Leblas ethical jewellery has teamed up with URTH, eco-luxe lifestyle brand co-founded by Sharon Walker, to design a collection of fine jewellery for the SS2010 season. This collection will launch in late April 2010 at the Leblas Sloane Street Boutique.

Made entirely from ethical materials including recycled sterling silver, URTH Ethical 18ct gold, and lead-free enamel, the collection will feature some of Leblas' most distinct filigree design techniques . The delicate patterns of filigree will be brought to life with enamelled candyfloss pastels, and the collection will comprise of a selection of pendants, earrings, and bangles, all united by a central motif of pretty lace bells.

The gold in this collection comes from the Madagascan community of Antinimbury and is produced without recourse to environmentally damaging chemicals, such as mercury. URTH Gold is guaranteed non-conflict and uses no hazardous child or forced-labour. Leblas uses 100% recycled gold, silver, and platinum, conflict free precious and semi-precious stones.

The colours will range from spearming to soft lilac. Perfect for the summer season!

"The collaboration with Leblas is a natural marriage," says URTH's co-founder Sharon Walker. "Leblas is an exciting new company. They work with recycled materials, supporting both traditional craftsmanship and new, young talent. The results are both modern and timeless."

URTH is an eco-luxe brand that uses ethical and sustainable materials. Co-founded by Sharon Walker in 2007, URTH's recent collaborations have included celebrity jeweller, Stephen Webster, and the ethical jeweller Pippa Small. Past Collections have supported a safety project at the community mine in Boligiva and the Tangania Orphanage in Madagascar.

Leblas is a fine jewellery boutique that fuses traditional techniques with modern design and sustainable practises.
