It was revealed at the end of June that Kanye West was going to make his come back into the fashion world, with a 'hip French Brand'. After many mixed reviews of his own label KW, it appears that no criticism is going to stop him! "Nobody can tell me where I can and can't go. Man, I'm the No. 1 living and breathing rock star," he says to W Magazine. With the mindset of no longer dropping brand names, except for his own, he is continuing to collaborate to make his own capsule of apparel!

The 'hip French Brand' that he was referring to is A.P.C. to create a capsule collection of menswear! This collection consisted of 7 pieces total with 2 pairs of jeans, 3 hoodies, and 2 t-shirts. All of these items were launched yesterday on the brands website, and the entire collection was sold out with in hours of launching! If that doesn't say something about this collection I don't know what does. With the super fast sell out it even crashed the brands website.

Though it appears the collaboration wasn't easy for designer and founder of A.P.C. Jean Touitou, as he stated, "When you deal with a guy who wants to redesign just about anything so it could fit [into the] kingdom of dopeness, it takes some time to just sit and say, 'Okay, agreed, but let's get start on something limited, and we'll see'," to Syle.com.

The A.P.C. brand is known for its minimalist designs, featuring clean lines and simple patterns in it's clothing. Logos are rarely visible, which fits Kanye quite perfectly! This collection didn't show any logos on the apparel, just a red tag with the words "A.P.C. Kanye," on all the pieces.

The collection is now available for pre-order, as the brand rushes to make more of Kanye's capsule collection! With this being his first tentative step back into the fashion industry after his 2 KW collections, I think it's safe to say that this one is a success thus far! He has hinted to being in the process of setting up an atelier in Milan to relaunch his KW label in the near future however.

What do you think? Do you think Kanye should stick to the 'hip' collaborations, or risk more criticism by relaunching his KW label?
