I Want the Shiny One

When you're walking thru the mall, what draws your attention in the store windows that makes you want to go in? Is it the display? The colors or the patterns of clothes? The poters? The SALE sign? The cute guy or girl that just walked in? What about when you walk past BeBe? What makes you want to go in and buy something? My answer: the manequins. They're shiny. Silver. Gold. The clothes on them just pop out at you. They make the clothes look better. They make every other store display look like crap. Some people that I know have commented on the shiny mannequins. Some people have told me that they buy clothes from there just because they love shiny stuff and they're drawn to the store. Some have said they don't shop there because of the shiny mannequins. One person imparticular (my aunt whom I was named after) calls the store "The Shiny Tramp Store". She really doesn't like it at all. She says the women on the posters look like cheap-o sluts with too much makeup on. I disagree. The store tries to have class. They sometimes fail, but they try. They want people to be drawn into the store by their crazy displays. As much as a lot of people I know don't like the displays (for many different reasons) they go into the store anyway. Me, however, go into the store because I LOVE shiny, sparkly things. When I have my own store I want the shiny mannequins. They stand out. They're different. They make a statement. What kind of store display do want? The kind with plain, bland mannequins? Or the shiny ones?
