Kanchipuram sarees are hand-woven silk fabrics made in the town of Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. It is one of the oldest sarees in the world and was originally made for kings and queens. The weaving technique for Kanchipuram sarees is called 'end utham,' which means 'to draw, paint and embroider' with gold zari threads. How to put on a Kanchipuram saree?

The first step is to wear the blouse and then pin the blouse to the saree. Then, wrap the saree pallu around the waist and put on the belt. Step 1: Pinning the blouse portion
