How to Become a Model?

I’m sure that you’ll agree with me, if I’ll say, that different eras had their popular professions. I mean those professions, which children of those times wanted to have! For example, fifty years ago almost every 8-year boy dreamed of becoming an astronaut or a firefighter, and girls wanted to become a teacher or an actress. In the Middle Ages the prospect of becoming a knight was the most seductive for the boys of those times, and girls were dreaming only about good husband, but what do we have today? Instead everyone wants to be a TV presenter or a model today, although they are already so many that every second passerby on the street is a celebrity. But the question now is not about that. If it happened that a lot of girls’ ultimate dream is to be a model, we will translate dreams into reality! Just follow the tips below, and be who you want to be!

  1. First of all you should find out whether your appearance fits the standards of model appearance. It’s not many of them, but they all are very strict. So first of all your height must be not less than 171 cm, your hip ratio should be about 90 cm and waist circumference - 60 cm. Breast size generally is not important. The main thing that the chest was not very big.
  2. In addition to appearance, you should have certain character traits, which a professional model needs not less than the visual appeal. There are certainly humility, communication, charisma and willingness to work hard and a lot! It looks like a standard set which everyone writes in his CW, but you can not do without them if you want to be a pro model.
  3. The next step - is to show your beauty to those who will pay for it. So you need to portfolio. My advice is to find a professional photographer, because no one can spoil the beauty of the model as a bad photographer. You shouldn’t save on it, because it can affect your ok essay career. If you don’t have money at all, there are a bunch of  professional photographers, who are making portfolios for free, but they can use your photos for promotion. It is a convenient option, but you should be careful and review the terms of your cooperation.
