Nearly 800 million people in the world are living without clean water. Each year, millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. 30,000 people will die this week alone. The lucky ones won't, but still have to walk hours each day to get dirty water for their families.
charity: water is working to change that. They are a nonprofit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to those in developing countries. They work to raise awareness about the world water crisis and invite others to join their mission -- that's where you come in!
charity: water is calling out to designers and artists alike, from all around the world, to help provide clean water to those who need it most. They are looking for creative, innovative designs that speak about the water crisis. The winning design will be chosen by the charity: water team and guest judge John Vechey, printed on a T-shirt and featured on their blog.
