Have you broken in your bridesmaid dress yet ?

When the countdown starts and the wedding begins to inch closer on the calendar, you'll suddenly remember that bridesmaid dress you ordered months ago that's sitting all still and pretty in the very back of your crowded closet. So before the big day sneaks up on you, it's important to bust out the dress and not only try it on, but make sure that you feel comfortable and confident in it before it's show time and you are strutting your stuff down the aisle on behalf of the bride-to-be. Here's five ways to break in your bridesmaid dress before the wedding day.

1. The 30-Day Countdown
A month before the wedding, try your bridesmaid dress on again. That way you can see if there's any last minute alterations that need to be done or special undergarments or shapewear, like Spanx, that you may need to go out and buy.

2. Turn on the Jams
Play your favorite Taylor Swift song and dance around in your dress. You'll start to see how it moves on you. Plus, it's a great way to practice some your finest dance moves.

3. OMG, Shoes
Pull out all of your shoe options and try them on with the dress to see which ones work best. Also pick out your most comfy, yet presentable, pair of flats you can pair the dress with once the party, or the blisters, start.

4. Bra-la-la
Be sure to try your bridesmaid dress on with the bra you'd like to wear with it to make sure that it fits well with the dress. You can even take your dress to a department store and try it on with different kinds of bras and shapewear so you can perfect your look.

5. Snap a Photo
Try your dress on with the accessories you plan to wear and the shoes you've picked out and snap a photo to send to the bride. That way, there won't be any surprises, or drama, the day of the wedding if she's not feeling the necklace or earrings you've picked out.
