I was meeting my friend Hollis Gillespie, for dinner and I arrived a little on the early side. I noticed there was an antique store / mall that had all kinds of dealers inside near the restaurant, so you know I explored. Inside were antique booths and yes some dealers even had racks of clothing… I was digging through a entire rack of dresses, all stuffed like they were friggin sardines, when out of the blue I spotted this Hanae Mori navy silk 80′s polka dot dress…. It was delicious! I mean I LOVE finding Hanae Mori…. This navy silk polka dot dress is so sassy & sexy not to mention on the sheer side, which always makes for a conversation piece! Hanae Mori is in the permanent collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art so click here to see that collection…. I also found this fabulous interview on YouTube and it’s a MUST watch video… there are pieces in that video that I would love to have for DOUBLETAKE (my luxury vintage consignment store ) and I do mean LOVE to have !!!!
