I’ve been in hundreds and hundreds of thrift stores in my life and almost everyone of them have wedding dresses.  I took this photo when I was shopping at a Salvation Army.  There are several wedding dress to pick from on the rack and I thought why not pick up a wedding dress for under $100 at a thrift store?  Think of all the super cool things you (and your alteration person) can do with a second hand wedding dress…  I mean you can shorten it to make it more sexy and chic, you can add any color of lace you wanted over it or you could really have fun with it and paint it…  Who says you have to go out and completely break your bank by buying a brand new Vera Wang, Marchesa or Monique Lhullier wedding dress? Get creative and get bold.  Tell the wedding crowd you are the master of your own universe and that you march to your own drum.  Hell if I were a woman and getting married you bet your sweet ass I would wear some wedding dress I found in a thrift store and believe me when I’m finished with it, it would be grand enough to be on any magazine cover.  You have to have that self confidence and I think you do !  I’m Daniel Troppy your luxury curator…
