Flowers for me were my favourite part

For a long weekend of coastal walking over the Christmas break in 2014, I love being out side and often take myself off running in the woodlands near where we live in Rushmere woods, so a coastal walking adventure was perfect planing! We set off on our 12 mile walk with a few walking snacks and a bottle of water, and on route Richard popped the question with a offering of M&M chocolates which he had printed with the words Miss Bear will you marry me?

I am a truly lucky lady to have such a brilliant and kind bro.Flowers for me were my favourite part! We said from the onset we wanted to stay local as much as possible, so I hunted around all the local florists in the area and found the lovely Lorianne at Wild Orchid in Leighton Buzzard, as soon as I described the bright colours and general feel of the day to her, it was like she knew instinctively exactly what I was after. The flowers were really important to me as this was where all my colour for my outfit would be on the day.

The civil ceremony was held in their beloved town-hall and given by Claudine’s brother. Her grandfather, who passed away a few years ago, was undoubtedly among us during this highly emotional moment. The religious ceremony was in the lovely tiny church in their village, so small that only a few could attend. So we arranged a live broadcast for the other guests to watch the ceremony live in comfort from another location.

We stayed in an awesome hotel here that used to be a tea factory, it had incredible views. Will seeing Angela in the dress for the first time.Hitting my 3 year old niece Olivia during the bouquet toss (this was a dangerous arena for a child!) We are pleased that she didn’t catch it though! The speeches were funny and original and all went really well. Angela’s Mum’s speech was really great, Will said such lovely things, the best men Tom and Mark were an amazing double act.
