When you wear flip flops sandals, then most of your feet are uncovered apart from your soles don’t touch the ground. They are very easy to slip them off at whatever time you want to. So, you are basically one step away from being completely bare footed. Everyone, men, women and kids like them because they look stylish & cool and you don’t actually have to spend huge money unless you want to wear the designer flip flops. Moreover, people love to wear them, particularly in winter, but you see them everywhere in summer, for example, at the malls, restaurants, movie theaters and other places where people spend time.
I have a pair of flip flops that I love very much. Besides, I have bought some of the most charming pairs online and I could probably buy 3 pairs of inexpensive flip flops for the price of one pair of expensive one. Remember, it just depends on what you are looking for or how much of importance you place on where your sandal comes from. For me, flip flops are amazing regardless of what brand they are.
My company where I work has a strict dress code, so officially employees are not supposed to wear flip flops. But, I wrecked my ankle once and soon after I started going to the office, but it was very painful and uncomfortable to wear shoes. So, my boss let me wear flip flops until the pain was bearable. Pointless to say, that I was quite sad when I had to wear regular shoes back after my ankle got better.
There are many places that don’t permit bare feet, but flip flops will get you in which does not make sense to me as your feet are still uncovered for the most part, but I believe that’s better than being compulsory to wear shoes. Therefore, buying a pair of flip flops is not a bad idea at all, but don’t ever wear socks with them because that is an abomination. You can buy flip flops from any local departmental store or from any online slipper store India. However, buying online have some great advantages like you can buy anytime from anywhere, have a wide range of choices; compare prices within seconds and many more.
Flip flops are called different names in different parts of the world. For example, they are called rubber slippers in Hawaii, jandals in New Zealand, havaianas in other places like Brazil and the zoris in Japan.
