While browsing the internet last night, I found that many people are adding fashion friendly resolutions to their goals for 2011. So we've decided to add come up with some fashion resolutions that we can all add to our lists. If you have made some of your own, we'd love for you to share them with us.
1. You will add pops of color to your wardrobe. Out with the safe basic colors (black, white, beige) in with fuschia, green, royal blue, yellow. These colors make your clothes look fresh and look great against your skin.
2. You will take care of your skin. Sunscreen everyday! Not only in the summer months, but all year, 365!
3. You will be a trendsetter and not a follower. So Street, So Chic is a celebration of women who make their own fashion rules. Celebrate that, wear what you love.
4. You will only wear/buy what you love. Stop wasting $$ on clothes you hate putting on. If after you finish your laundry, you still say "I have nothing to wear" then you need to stop buying things you don't like to wear.
5. You will experiment with makeup. I absolutely LOVE red/fuschia lipstick, black mascara and black liquid eyeliner! It is one of my favorite looks for women. It's timeless and classic. I (Adrana) will be wearing more of these, so be sure to check out the slideshow on the right.
6. You will not be a slave to your makeup. On the end of resolution #5 spectrum. Be you! Don't hide behind your makeup. Clear clean skin goes a long way. Most days a swipe of mascara and a touch of lip gloss is more than enough.
7. You will accessorize, accessorize, accessorize!! Hats, bracelets, necklaces, rings, and earrings they can make or break an outfit. Adding to your accessories wardrobe is the easiest and most affordable way to update your wardrobe. http://www.pnkelephant.com/ has some great affordable pieces.
