Fashion Industry Network is Two Years Old

Time sure does go fast. I just accidentally ran into an old blog post that I wrote on the Fashion Newspaper 6/7/2007. Just over two years ago. I was talking about the idea of starting a fashion network site... Fast forward, and it is now two years later. I am happy to say that the Fashion Industry Network is doing well and has thousands of great members that I am happy to call friends. I have learned much from many of the members and I think that we have all expanded our knowledge of fashion. I had written the following: ____________________________________________________ Does the Fashion Industry need a Social Networking website??? Actually, do NOT bother answering that question. In all honesty, I do not care what your answer is. The fact of the matter is that I am building one anyway. If the fashion gods have their say in the matter, the site should be launched some time before the end of July. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, maybe July 31st. Anyway, the goal is to have at least something for you to sink you teeth into in the very near future. Yes, I understand that it is NOT easy to develop a social network. That is why I actually need your help. When the site is launched, PLEASE join and post cool comments about fashion. The site is planned to be at either www.FashionIndustryNetwork.com or www.FashionIndustryAssociation.com At this time, those addresses are just pointing to one of my other sites. As soon as the Fashion Social Network is presentable, it will be visible. FYI: I am leaning toward the use of FashionIndustryNetwork.com I would have selected a shorter name, but it is really hard to find a good .com now a days... The good ones are taken.. See ya soon at the new network. _________________________________________________________ By the way, shortly after that message I posted on the Fashion Newspaper I posted a forum topic here on the Fashion Industry network, Is a social network beneficial to the Fashion Industry?. Most people responded that it was a good idea.

PLEASE keep all discussions relevant to fashion, textiles, beauty products, or jewelry.

Follow the Fashion Industry Network Rules.

It is always a good time to review fabulous fashion.
