Here is a fashion photo taken by my mother June 4th, 2010 at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
We often wonder, does artwork inspire fashion or does fashion inspire artwork? I am not sure if the above image answers that question, but I thought the image must tell us something...
Note: This was not some sort of photo shoot. This person was there enjoying the artwork in the Museum. Their may be a very good explanation regarding her clothing selection for the day, but I am not aware of the explanation.
When thinking about Fashion and Modern Art should we be thinking that Fashion is Modern Art?
Maybe she is a fashion artist or illustrator? If she is, my mother should have suggested that she add a listing in the fashion artists guide at my Apparel Search site...
