Fanny and Jessy / Autumn 2011

That's so New YorkEarlier this week, London-based design duo Fanny and Jessy were kind enough to send across the official images from their Autumn/Winter 2011 look book and although I already had a rough idea of what the collection entailed after noticing a feature on another blog, I was extremely impressed with the sheer quality of the images and the abstract personalities behind the designs. Fanny and Jessy are known for their impeccable taste when it comes to those items which are slightly out of the ordinary and offer something which is remarkably unique each and every season, from caged dresses and leather jackets back in Autumn/Winter 2010 to a selection of transparent items; that of which were a seemingly critical component throughout their Spring/Summer 2011 collection. 

Once I had managed to grab five minutes to myself and have a thorough flick through the thirty images which Fanny and Jessy sent across, I couldn't help put notice a minor similarity between the Fanny and Jessy Autumn/Winter 2011 look book and Moon Spoon Saloon Autumn/Winter 2011 "Take Me To Your Leader" look book in regards to the make-up and hair throughout each and every image. Although I'm not complaining, primarily due to the fact that both collections are two of my favorites so far this season.

Okay, so you may have noticed that there are only six measly images shown here out of the rather substantial thirty which make up the entire collection and you may be questioning "Why has he not put all of the images on here?" And I will admit it, I was too lazy. The thought of going through and uploading each and every image seems increasingly tiresome and the sound of it alone gives me the impression that it would be too much work.
