That's So New York - Impeccable detailing and awe inspiring decoration is what landed London based designer Erdem British Fashion Council award in 2010, and it’s clear that the oasis of talent he holds is not going to dry up any time soon. Inspired by painting and pretty messes, Erdem delivers modern and colourful twist on the occasionally monotonous Fall/Winter collections with broken up colours and effortlessly seductive lace upon a collaboration of navy blues, black, and vibrant reds. The brilliant rouge almost act as an ice breaker, breaking the deep blues, to transition into a palette of playfulness, capturing Erdem’s wonderment of nature and flowers.

To me, there is always something very intriguing about Erdem’s creations. It’s not just clothing, it’s aesthetic apparel which will constantly make the wearer think about where came from – the theme, and the inspiration- and not only that, the looks from this collection are guarantied to make the wearer feel like the they are walking in something extraordinary.
